Should the moderators remove content prior to when they were given moderation power?

I just think the legacy posts should be left alone so we can see how this board evolved and reminisce over old threads that were funny, if a little un PC.

while i agree that is it nice to see how far we have come, there is some stuff on this site that is REALLY offensive and doesn't belong here. i don't propose we delete every four letter word, not anything close to that. personally, i don't even think we need to go back in time and scour posts to find offensive content. but if something is brought to a moderator's attention and the moderator agrees that it is highly offensive, it should be removed, regardless of when it was posted.

Offensive posts only makes the poster look dumb. Personally I find most of the offensive "legacy" posts are funny as all hell ( if you step back a little and laugh with or at them ).

Spamy posts should be deleted before that sh*t attacks more flys.

I voted yes.. But posts that are Spam... The mildly offensive stuff should be left alone.. Commercial stuff should be removed.. SakaWhatever should be removed, or minimum moved to an offtopic forum..

My honest opinion, the past stuff should stay, BUT, it should be to the Admin's descretion what the moderators do and how far back they go. Removing of posts should be done very seldom.

But as we saw with Sakawhatever, some idiots can take over this site if allowed.
