Remember the masterbator from "I got a job to do"? well....

I went to the court in SF the other day and turns out he's going to trial for doing this stuff before. The Assistant District Attorney told me they are going to combine the two cases and that she was very grateful I even showed up.
One thing she said bothers me. She said she really had a hard time getting a hold of me because management was very uncooperative. My guess is that management would shield me from potential stalkers but when she is throwing case #'s and BART police reports I gotta wonder.
She said she even went through the Police Liason and that took some time as well. BART even questioned her as to should I be paid or not. She said the incident occured on BART property in a train, the arresting individual is an on duty train operator who is also the witness. what do you think?
I suggested she call the Union Office because they can move messages/info/mail and locate union members much faster through the grapevine.
Relieved, she thanked me for showing up for the fifth time and let me go.

SF DA's office is notorious
SF DA's office is notorious for delayed cases, witnesses showing up to cases already pled out and other general chaos. They will have you show up many times, as in your case, and simply tell you that they have consolidated the case. Meanwhile, a subpoena is sent out chasing you, your employer must pay you for the day (that may last 10 seconds), do massive rescheduling - all for naught. The system is flawed. I've been in DA's offices as a witness and the first question from the ADA is: "Okay, what do we have here....they are overwhelmed and understaffed and running around in circles. It's a different world at Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo and Santa Clara county DA offices. I applaud you for taking an active role in this case.
