They posted it on the BART
They posted it on the BART site also. I saw it when I went to check my schedule for tomorrow.
I'm not looking forward to it. I'd rather pay my $1.40 than have to deal with the extra problems and crowds these days bring.
I hate to say this being all
I hate to say this being all earth friendly like I am, but when I used to ride BART and there was a spare the air day, I'd drive in. Too many thugs and kidz looking for trouble.
From the peninsula it wasn't
From the peninsula it wasn't that bad this morning. I was able to get a seat at the San Bruno station heading north. Didn't see any thugs or kidz. Once we hit Colma though, it was standing room only.
I rode from Ashby to
I rode from Ashby to Embarcadero today around noon, was not so bad.
There was only one brat pack on the train and they were just repeatedly marching back and forth from the 1st to the last car and back (outfitted in their raiders garb)

Hmm. A similar group was pulled off at West Oakland this afternoon. Wonder if it was the same?
Are these kids trying to
Are these kids trying to send some kind of message when they march back and forth? Are they trying to intimidate? Why?
They're just being stupid.
They're just being stupid. You know, going "stupid, dump, and hyphy" on BART because they can. They were making all sorts of racket this afternoon and pushing and bumping into people unnecessarily and disturbing the [relative] peace.
Why they do it? Because they can. Are they trying to send a message? Probably. What is that message? I haven't a clue.
I'm glad my parents never
I'm glad my parents never let me hangout with kids with that mentality. If I see them, I'll witness to them. Who knows? They might get saved.
Compared to yesterday - I
Compared to yesterday - I think people got the hint that BART was free until 1pm today. As soon as we hit South San Fran the train was packed. I'm talking about the next station after mine. Good thing I found a seat right away. Seems that Spare the Air day was all over the local news yesterday.
