I will raise hell if they
I will raise hell if they ever did that in San Bruno.
Well get ready to raise hell
Well get ready to raise hell then ...it is coming .
Free parking in the bay area is becoming a thing of the past folks...
I'm surprised it's only $1.
I'm surprised it's only $1. and it does tend to run off carpoolers and non-bart people.
A friend recently commented
A friend recently commented on the $1.00 parking fee at one of the stations. He's resorted to leaving the house 30 minutes early to walk the 1/2 mile to the nearest AC bus stop. He returns 45 minutes later in the evening via AC. For a buck a day. Go figure.
Hahahahahahaha. Awesome. I'm
Hahahahahahaha. Awesome. I'm glad they still ride, though.
The walking is healthy, and the bus-riding is good for the environment. :)

I think that Del Norte is going to be the next "Pay to Park" station.
BART Revenue Study Session...
I picture a group of sweaty, bad, men, with beedie eyes and gills, smoking and drinking massive amounts of swill. They are laying on pillows, discussing how BART can squeeze another buck from ridership.
How will BART get yet another dollar from people who usally COUNT their dollars?
BART gets the whole "Pay to Park" culture going on a smaller scale at the E C Plaza station.
Once people get over the HUMP OF ACCEPTENCE, the culture of paying to park will have been established in West CoCo County.
Next stop...

The thing that I wonder is when will $1.00 not suffice?
How long before it's $2.00, $3.50, or $5.00 as West Oakland already is?
And we ALL know that a fare increase is not far off
pretty soon, pretty soon

It costs me $200 a month for parking at my office.
Does anyone else have comparison. I've been told $200 was cheap. I think its insane.
Here in SF near my house,
Here in SF near my house, the garage used to cost $60, then it went to $120, then $140. I canceled my spot when the raise from $120 to $140 was announced.
$200 a month is $10 per workday. Depending on where it is, that's not too bad. Let's say it's the Financial District. Good deal. Sunset? Bad deal.
If it were me, I'd look for an alternative.
