First Report on Commute to/from Dublin Pleasanton BART Today
Today was supposed to be the first day of absolute hell and delays for BART Dublin Pleasanton riders. Instead, it was very tolerable, almost unnoticeable. The morning trains left a couple of minutes early. The afternoon trains coming home took the same 45 minutes from D/T SF as always. The only difference was that my usual 5:23pm train from Montgomery didn't arrive until 5:28pm. It arrived at Dublin at 6:12pm, 44 minutes later with no stoppage.
I'm going to razz everyone at work tomorrow that razzed me that my commute home was going to be seven minutes longer. I think they must have thought the delay meant that the train would literally come to a screetching stop between Castro Valley and Dublin leaving riders swealtering without A/C or power. Everyone at work laughed saying my ride home would be the ride from hell. Sorry to disappoint them. One guy at work who brags because he has only a 20 minute BART ride to Glenn Park (whereever the hell Glenn Park is) even said he was looking forward to watching the news to see how bad my commute was.

I agree - it went better
I agree - it went better than I expected. I am curious how things will hold up going forward.

The first day was probably the critical test. If all was well yesterday, I'm sure it will be going much better than expected. Haven't heard any complaints as of yet.
