overnight parking at San Leandro - bad idea?
I live in SF and I'm starting a new job which is a few miles from the San Leandro station. I don't want to bike from the station to my job (unsafe at many levels), so I'm considering buying a really cheap car and using it as a shuttle between the BART station and my office. I'd have to leave my car at the San Leandro station overnight every week, Monday-Thursday.
Is this a bad idea? What are the odds that my car will get stolen and/or badly vandalized over the course of a year? Let's say it's a 1989 Geo Metro with no radio, nothing inside, and it has The Club, locking gas cap, etc.
thanks!

I don't think cycling in San Leandro is unusually risky. Have you taken the Road 1 class?
