System power to transbay is back up but there are delays throghout the system. I just waited for 25 minutes at Dublin Station. Just a heads up to you riders.

Because a lot of people are checking Bartrage before starting the commute into work. :-)
About 4:20 AM, a power
About 4:20 AM, a power substation failed (I think a transformer blew out) and killed third rail power. BART set up a bus bridge from MacArthur.
The power people got power back in less than an hour, and things settled out within an hour.
One trick to do is to get off at 12th, walk to the Marriott at 11th and grab a cab. 4 people make it pretty cheap, and I think some of the big companies reimburse you? Part of the commuter check stuff.
bart also had a power outage
bart also had a power outage last week between walnut creek and pleasant hill during the evening and was terminating service at lafayette. i was lucky, they got the power back on in enough time for our train to make it through. i was on the 11:57 out of embarcadero.
i do not think the commuter check program reimburses for cab fare of any kind. i will definitely always have cab money on me after that. i only had 3.00 that night and was wondering how the hell i was going to get to bay point but there were buses.
