H'mmmm. I still feel Pirone was equally or more at fault and should have been charged as an accessory because Pirone gave the order to Mesherle to use his taser on Grant and he was the officer in charge of that mess. Maybe these breeder dudes like Grant will stay home and take care of their kids next time instead of causing kaos all over the place with their drinking and drugging.

pirone is not at fault. if he ordered mesherle to use his taser but the gun was used instead, how is that pirone's fault? if mesherle grabbed the correct weapon, this would have never made the news and no one would have been fired or sent to jail. if you told someone at work to give the guy in the red car a hamburger but they gave them a cheeseburger, is that your fault? ;)
i think grant deserved to be tased. he was mouthing off to police and resisting being cuffed. if a cop tells you to do something, you shut your drunk ass mouth and do it.
i don't agree at all with the ruling. to me, it can only go one of two ways. either a) he meant to shoot grant and is a cold blooded killer and should get a life sentence, or b) it was an unfortunate and horrible accident and he should be fired but receive no jail time.
it seems to me that the jury agreed that it was an accidental shooting, but felt they needed to award some jail time just to appease grant's family and the potential rioters. lame.

I don't think Mesherle deserves 2-14 years that's for sure; he didn't do it on purpose; it was a horrible accident in the line of duty and he and his family have been through enough. Oscar Grant should have been home taking care of his kid instead of out drinking and drugging and fighting on the train. OG was a habitual offender and his father is in jail for murder as well. His family doesn't deserve jack because he cause his own demise by not complying.
I was just a bit bothered by Pirone's behavior because I felt he was contributing to the escalation of the situation instead of getting these jerks off of the platform and away from the crowd.
I will be in W.C. supporting Mesherle on Monday.

Today, I'm at Anderson's Bakery and some black woman orders a half of cheese danish then accuses the bakery lady of touching the danish with the same hand she touched money with and made her throw the Danish away, cut up a brand hew one and give her that. So basically Anderson's is out one and a half cheese danishes because some black bitch wants a half danish. What a retard. I've never heard of that in my life. If she could steal it, she would eat the whole thing of course. The lady and I just rolled our eyes. I had to bite my tongue on that one. I shop there almost everyday.

Well, wasn't an it Asian man who was beat up and killed in downtown Oakland just because this African American thug was having a bad day and wanted to take it out on the son and him? But oh thats not racism... How about the older Asian lady who was pushed into the trackway of the MUNI T train by another African American thug. Isn't this a coincidence? And what abou the many African American thugs who tell me to "Go Back To Where I Come From" because I was doing my job by making them pay for the BART Fare that they trying to cheat out of.
Unfortunately, I was born and raised in CA and most likely have a higher education than them, hard working, law abiding and contributing to society. If they hate my parent country and people so much, they shouldn't use any products that comes from there, which means they need to throw away their Sony TVs, DVD players, boomboxes, video game consoles, Toyotas, and even Lexus because it all comes from my parent's home country of Japan. Also while you're at it, throw away the computer that you're using since many of the intricate components are designed and built in Japan.
