i voted for the blaring
i voted for the blaring headphones. i've never met a set of noisy headphones that my noise isolating headphones couldn't drown out completely. they even drown out the cell phone screamers and even screaming babies...

I voted for sitting on the stain, since it's probably been there since 1983....
I voted (in my own poll) to
I voted (in my own poll) to sit in the seat next to the door. I actually only added that option as an afterthought; out of the other options, I'd probably choose to stand. I haven't invested in good headphones like boopie, mostly out of laziness rather than expense. But if I have to vacate the disabled seat, I'd end up standing anyway, so I'd rather take my chances and maybe end up standing for less of the ride.
My problem with the stain is that it is not always apparent whether it is still wet or not . . .
Headphones or cell phone
Headphones or cell phone user.
Last time I tried asking someone to move their feet I got threatened with assault so i am not going to do that again.
i'd take the talking loudly
i'd take the talking loudly in a cellphone. as i have said before the reason people talk loudly into cell phones is because in the early days people wondered if the person on the other end could actually hear them; talking through this new device. add in a bart train and one wonders still 'can they hear me?' so they talk louder.
doing business on a cell phone is like being at the dentist. why we dont yell at the dentist is beyond me.
