Take your parking receipt!!
I know that everybody says that it is a waste of time and an inconvenience to other riders, but you better take that parking receipt! I just got screwed out of $35.00 at the Orinda station. I parked in a legal space, noted the number, paid my buck at the machine, but forgot to take the receipt. When I got back to my car a few hours later there was that big fat $35.00 citation. Now with no receipt to proove I paid I am screwed. I sure would like to know how much BART makes each year on parking citations. I bet the amount exceeds what they make on buck-a-space parking. What a scam!

Be careful here, Bart could use this technique as a revenue generator. Every morning at 10:00, they go to the machines and get all the receipts left there. Then go to each space they have a receipt for and put a ticket on the car.
