In the future if BART has a budget surplus and the economy is good, please use it to cut fares. It seems like the Bay Bridge and BART are racing to who can fleece the more money from people on a given day.

I'll believe it when I see it. BART has been constantly hiking fares ever since I started riding almost 10 years ago.

it is both a commuter and urban railway...I think that the intended point is that yes we expect that there needs to be some fare increase, but we have seen significant increases for a decrease in level of service. The BOD and Unions are bloated and that is why we rage!
