Tomorrow is the BIG day for ATU and SEIU

Tomorrow is the day that ATU will vote on their "tentative agreement." Additionally, tomorrow, SEIU will count their votes. There has been MUCH dissention in the rank and file. Some say "YES" others say "NO" and the rest are unsure.

The outcome is still unclear. There has been ALOT of pressure from the ATU union leadership to vote "YES" (even some of them are saying vote NO) while most senior rank and file employees say "NO". In the middle are the part-timers who are unclear of what to do.

Total chaos in the works...

Hope it works out and there

Hope it works out and there is no strike.

I do NOT want 12.5 hour days til it is resolved...I have concert tickets for weds;)

I would be disappointed if

I would be disappointed if the workers vote this down. But I will be happy to note that the workers have a mind of their own and do not blindly follow the orders of their leaders.

I think there will be layoffs and because of the seniority clause the most affected will be the newer hires. They will be voting Yes and the seniors will be voting No. Lets see.

Just left the union meeting

Just left the union meeting for ATU. There are 4 meetings scheduled for today. The leadership was divided. Some said vote yes others said vote no.

I think the workers will vote it down if not it will be close.
