Why is this site called "BARTRAGE"?
Why is this site called "bartrage" when you can't really rage or complain about BART without getting attacked by BART employees or threatened to get kicked out of here by overzealous BARTRAGE moderators?
Example, MasterChief is always getting reprimanded for just speaking the truth and echoing what most people feel. Meanwhile, this site lets others like Operator9 ridicule the public with their pro-BART workers propoganda and sense of entitlement.
It really makes me wonder what the real agenda of this site is. The site should really be called "BART Union Employees Rule!".

I suggest not reading anything having to do with unions or contract negotiations, and when other threads turn to that subjects stop reading them as well. Let the children on both sides splatter themselves with poo all they want.

I've been wondering the same thing ever since I started posting here.

why don't you take a look back at my comments that are union related. what you will see is that i hate unions more than anyone else on this site.
there were three things that got people's comments deleted recently:
1) personal attacks
2) comments that were completely off topic
3) creating bogus accounts

Perhaps, however, my memory is flawed.

maybe my moderating style is flawed, but i give people the benefit of the doubt if they have been longtime members with a track record of quality posts. when some newbie comes in and pretty much immediately starts name calling and multiple people complain about it, posts might get deleted.

I think the site name is rather fitting. Sure paying patrons can rage about their BART experience all they want. Why can't an employee defend their position or that of BART? Freedom of expression, right? Sure it's a forum and moderation is necessary. I enjoy hearing gripes and complaints of patrons. Lord knows I had my fair share of complaints when I was a rider and even now as an employee I have some new ones. So, in my opinion, RAGE AWAY! :) Yes, even Master Chief.
