Compassion from a fellow BART rider
Yesterday was one of those days that I needed to take BART into SF from Concord. I boarded the PBP train at Montgomery at approx. 4:50pm to return home and was in line for the first car. When the train pulled up, it was already SRO. I held on as best as I could until we reached 12th St in Oakland. An older gentleman sitting in one of the ADA/senior seats got up and said, "I have a disability, but it looks like you need the seat more than I do." The gentlemen stood for another three stops and was able to sit down again. Thank you so much! My only complaint is the young, twenty-something blond who sat next to him in the seat. She could have offered her seat. Before I became disabled, I did that on a regular basis. Anyway, it's nice to see compassion among my fellow BART riders!

Please NO PUKE FEST on BART

Concord patrons, the thieves are messing with the cars again watch out. Mercedes left on jacks; all tires taken a couple of weeks ago and lots of break-ins. Just look at all the auto window glass in the garage and lots. All those video cameras and it is still taken over by gang bangers, probably from the house right across the street at Oakland and Pacific.
