Grooming/makeup
I know we've already had recent discussions about riders who clip their nails, but why on earth do women do makeup on the BART train? With the motion and the shaking, I couldn't understand it when a woman across the aisle from me did her mascara, eyeliner, etc. during the 40 minute or so ride. She even plucked her eyebrows, ew! I consider eyebrow plucking like nail clipping--you might not think it's gross since it's your own, but please, out of consideration for other people!
I think she noticed my disbelief because she glanced over at me. She continued with her beauty routine though. I didn't take a picture because my camera phone would have been rather obvious.

I witnessed a woman
I witnessed a woman separating her mascara with the pin from her hotel name tag. When the train rolled, she plunged the pin into her eye. Blinded and screaming, several patrons assisted her off the train to seek medical attention without delaying the entire train. Think of the name tag pin puncturing your eyeball. The screaming still echos in my head.
Ouch! Now that has to hurt!
Ouch!
Now that has to hurt!
I could have gone without
I could have gone without having that image in my head...
People are so stupid.
Wow... Ouch. Doofus. I
Wow... Ouch. Doofus.
I actually switched cars because I got so sick of watching the same woman shelack her face for an hour every day with her make-up. It would appear she was done, then she would start over going over everything again until it was time for her to depart.
Ouch! That's not quite
Ouch! That's not quite darwin-award-worthy, but it's still a pretty profound level of idiocy.
