2: Staff *DO* monitor cameras on the platforms... in fact, there is an entire department (CommSpec) that does nothing but.

What about the cams in the cars? many of those housings appear empty.
(btw: Shrapnel: My cams are all outside the house at points of entry, none inside the house. I have caught a few crimes, all after the fact )

#3 is a simple fix. Cameras with a remote activated turret mounted laser. The monitoring peeps see a crime, push a button, and whammo! That asshole drinking coffee in the quad seats is toast.
And I don't see any reason why they couldn't take it a step further and spring for coffee cup recognition software. Then they wouldn't have to pay all those lazy union employees to monitor everything.
