Major Delay in Both Directions Due to Police Activity?

A few more details might be nice since BART is closing at midnight? Will we get home, what is going on? I received the below message at 10:50 p.m.:

"There is a major delay on the SFO Line in both directions due to police activity."

You don't even know if it is safe to go to your station and wait or even where on the line the activity is with this one sentence email.

Now, they are recovering. Gheese! Major delay to recovery in 15 minutes. That was REALLY good news though.
