Commuters who park in lots at some BART stations may start paying more as the rail agency scrambles to boost revenue and cut costs to keep the books balanced.
The BART Board of Directors on Thursday will consider reinstating daily parking charges at the South San Francisco, San Bruno and Millbrae station lots, where commuters have had free parking since 2004. In addition, the daily cost to park at the Daly City and Colma lots would go up $1. Already in the works is a plan to start charging for daily parking at the San Leandro and Castro Valley lots in April.

Ye-ah. Honestly, I'm going to guess BART will start rivaling gas prices at the rate this is going (not to mention the damage that sometimes happens when someone is too careless to look where they are driving, people who fling their doors open or washing the car more often because of mysterious coffee drops or bird droppings.
I'm also guessing the fees are going to straight into the board of directors' pockets...

So agree on the "pockets" these fees will be going into; no fees ever go into the system. I'm ready to vote NO for everything for BART because it never gets any better, just worse.
