Yay for the lady who made it to the opposite platform...
Wasn't sure she'd make it to the other side in time when she realized she was on the side for Fremont instead of the opposite direction. Despite her heels she made it on the train just in the nick of time.
Boo to the station agent at Bayfair who was helping a woman find her correct train (I think) while she ATE IN HIS FACE. And yes, it was in the paid area. I realize others have said other commuters need to speak up if they spot someone eating on the train or the platform, but really now.
As I left I saw she continued to eat on the platform. So much for enforcing the rules...

Walked by a man eating a nice juicy hot dog on the inbound platform at Hayward. Didn't want to say anything in light of the shooting death last week. I personally don't think there should be a problem with eating and drinking as long as there are no spills. I think there should be a No Spilling rule, but obviously that would be impossible to enforce.
