Some great employees...

I had to drop off a friend at walnut creek bart last night around 7:15. My wife was at her monthly bunco thingy, so I had my two boys with me, a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. We went to the top of the parking structure and watched a couple trains pass thru the station. Then my 2 1/2 year old decided he wants to ride the train. As we were entering the station, the agent helps me get the 2 1/2 year old thru the gate. Then, my 1 year old, who was playing with my blackberry while I held him, drops the blackberry and it explodes all over the ground. The bart police officer who was there helped me pick up the pieces of the phone.
So we sat in the middle of a 9 car baypoint train, exited at concord. At that point my 2 1/2 year old decided he wants to see the "driver.". So we went back to wc at the front of a 10 car train. The TO waved to us when we got on (we were the only people in the car). As a side note, the car was the cleanest I have ever seen. You could tell it was old (woodgrain contact paper on the sides of the seats) but it had the new style floors and all the seats had nice covers and firm stuffing. I am not sure if it was because we were the only ones in the car, and it is really bart patrons that make the train look dirty or what, but this car was VERY clean.
When we exited the train, the TO stuck his head out the window, waved and said "see ya buddy" to my kid and gave a little "boop boop" on the horn.
When I got down the stairs the same station agent was there. She asked how much I ride bart (every day) and then asked to see my ticket. She stamped it "good for entry" and let us out the side gate.
Thanks to all these wonderful bart employees!
