People Don't Like Standing
I admit that I hate standing on BART, especially on a long ride, but I thought it was ust me being lazy (maybe it is). I have, however, noticed how people will refuse to enter a BART car that has no available seats, even with only a few people standing. Even though it is during the morning commute, and the next train is more than 10 minutes later, nearly all riders in a line of about 8 people seemed to avoid boarding the cars that I could see (without stcking head out the door and looking down the platform).

-shakes his head in shame- I could understand if it was a crush load, but come on. Well, that just how it is sometimes so we might as well deal with it. The longer they stand in line, the faster their feet wear out without getting anywhere. And the longer it takes to get home and to that hot plate. Oh well.
