lol.
im still trying to figure out how that service advisory makes any sense whatsoever.
SAME HERE! Whoever is
SAME HERE! Whoever is writing those service advisories needs to take a grammar class. Whatever he/she wrote does not make any sense whatsoever!
Fremont runs trains to both
Fremont runs trains to both Richmond and Daly City during commute. If there is a significant delay on that line, it DOES affect all Richmond and Daly City passengers. Fremont to Richmond traffic was messed up, as well as all traffic between Fremont and Daly City.
The advisory makes sense to me.
then it should say there is a
then it should say there is a 30 minute delay "on the fremont line," not a 30 minute delay "at fremont." the advisory makes it sound like fremont is somewhere between richmond and daly city, which it is not. i would like to take this moment to direct your attention to the bart system map:
FREMONT IS NOWHERE NEAR RICHMOND OR DALY CITY
How do we even know what was
How do we even know what was posted here was the actual service advisory word for word? I don't know that for sure. So why everyone is getting all emotional in here is beyond me. When there is a delay, the concise wording of the advisory should be the least of your concerns.
And what's the difference between the advisory saying "30 minute delay at Fremont" and "30 minute delay on the Fremont line"? From both, you can conclude that the Fremont line is basically f*cked up, as well as the SF, Richmond, and Dublin lines due to trickledown effect. So should/does the approximate location of the incident even be relevant to you? Should it even matter? Nope. Any major incident on any line regardless of location, AFFECTS THE ENTIRE LINE AND ALL LINES THAT FEED INTO IT. Regardless of how the advisory is worded, you should be able to pull key facts out of it and understand the bottom line. Which informed you that you aren't going anywhere, and aren't gonna get to your destination anytime soon.
Sounds like all of you should apply down at central. Maybe we'd get some advisories that are worded better.
I did cut and paste the
I did cut and paste the advisory from the BART webpage verbatim.
Ummmm, what Boopie said. It
Ummmm, what Boopie said. It should have said ALL FREMONT LINES or something to better indicate that the lines were affected. When it says "at Fremont", it makes me think is there some sort of delay at this station, not the entire line.
