Good luck, future Officers!
To those who might not know, BART Police conducted the physical agility test for perspective Police Officer Trainees today in the parking lot at Bayfair station.
The physical agility test isn't too tough, but it is a requirement. Once the recruits pass the physical agility test, the whole process of police training begins. Background checks are initiated, and the recruits enter a POST-certified academy. I think most will be training with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.
Good luck to these fine men and women who are taking the challenge, and may one day wear the badge.
