I work at the Starbucks on
I work at the Starbucks on 4th and Market. Powell Station, Next to Virgin Records at the Phelan Building! =]
I'm not a fan of this
I'm not a fan of this location. I went in there with my nephew and they gave him a REALLY hard time. He used to work for Starbucks somewhere else, and we were shopping at Macy's in Union Square. We stopped by and - let me just say this - the atmosphere was less than stellar.
I like the Starbucks in the Westfield (Powell), but not a big fan of the manager there. Byron or Brian or something. Total flake.
I love the 24-hour Starbucks up from Market. I also love the one near Chinatown SF. Orinda is also nice, as is the store near Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. (For anyone that cares, Lone Tree Way @ The Plaza in Antioch rules!)
But ah, I digress.
I voted Peets. Their coffee is worlds above that of Starbucks. I find the Indies to be hit and miss - some blow it out of the park, and some suck! Peets at least has the consistency of a corporation with the quality of a mid-range Indie.
I was pleasantly surprised when BART entered into their contract with Peets.
I used to go to this dunkin
I used to go to this dunkin donuts at the train station in Philly. You had to hide while you were making up your mind or they would start yelling 'what do you want ca I take your order next customer please what do you want' as soon as they saw you, even if there was no one else in line.
That was the most high pressure coffee and donut place ever.

Sounds like the way Pat's Steaks treated their customers when I used to go there in the '70s !!
you forgot tullys. i have
you forgot tullys. i have only been there one time - our office coffee machine was broken so i walked down there to cash in my free coffee coupon that i got on bart a while back. anyway, the people were really friendly and the coffee was good. but i've never been back. so i wouldn't vote for them even if you did add them to your survey.
i like tully's too. Tully's
i like tully's too. Tully's milkshake type drinks blow Starbucks' right out of the water. Our office relocated to the BofA building in SF and we're stuck with Starbucks whic is a total zoo and they get the drinks wrong often. Sometimes Starbucks is good but they just don't seem to be consistent. Some days are great and some suck and some they just give you a completely different drink than what you ordered.
Ahhh... the store with the
Ahhh... the store with the VIP line... I've worked in that one on several occasions... wasn't too thilled with the store layout... or staff... a little english would be nice...
Oh man!! I forgot Tully's.
Oh man!! I forgot Tully's. It's weird how no one knows much about Tully's. I'm a starbucks fan myself. I guess my poll was more focused on exploiting starbucks (LOL). ha ha ha ha. I love them.

Tully's? Remember
Tully's? Remember Spinelli's? Spinelli's had a number of outlets including the one near the entrance to the Embarcadero BART Station. It was a local roaster with a fantastic "Original" blend. Tully's bought them out and kept their blends on sale.
i vote for all star donuts
i vote for all star donuts across from bayfair-LARGE coffee-$1.50!
omg, are you talking about
omg, are you talking about the donut shop next to the adult store? They have really good coffee and donuts. They don't pressure you like Dunkin' Donuts!
