Web schedule is wrong
Either that or my train left early. I got to montgomery at 11:12 to catch a 11:14 train, but the sign says the next train isn't for 12 minutes. I don't think it was delayed by 14 minutes, as there have been no announcements. And I know the time was correct because both my phone and the bart platform signs say so.
Is it common for trains to run ahead of schedule? Midday when trains only come every 15 minutes, this becomes very annoying. Now I am late for my lunch appt even though I got to the station early.

Yep. On the website, it says the SF train arrives at UC station at 8:10 AM, but it actually arrives at 8:03 AM. I figured that out the hard way one morning. Hurry the f*ck up with these repairs BART!

I've had trains that have left ahead of schedule by something about a minute before their scheduled departure. It actually happens quite frequently with this one particular T/O on the Millbrae-Richmond line in the mornings. I get to the platform and see my Richmond train accelerating away from the station while the platform signs still says that there is a minute before departure. Thank goodness that PBP and Richmond trains run only 7 minutes apart weekdays.
When I have caught her train, and sit in the front car, it seems like she has a tendency to close the doors as soon as the "Beep, Beep, Beep..." sound goes off in the cab while other T/Os let it beep for a while before closing. Maybe that has to do with it?
