I love the swipe Lil Johnson made at the state at the bottom...
------------------
The Hayward yard, which was damaged in the fire, is home to one-quarter of BART's fleet and is used for much of the agency's maintenance work.
"We're crippled without it," Johnson said.
Crews are working nights and weekends to restore service, Johnson said, adding that BART hasn't gotten the same political and monetary help that went into the rebuilding of the MacArthur Maze last year.
"Nobody wants to fix this faster and more efficiently than we do," he said. "Unfortunately, we are doing this all on our own."

I usually transfer at the
I usually transfer at the Lake Merritt station, instead of the Bayfair station, especially if I have a nice comfy seat. However, today, my seat was a little too comfy, and I made it all the way to the West Oakland station. So, I transfered to a PBP train in WE... Which is the same PBP train that the Richmond train waits for at the Civic Center station! It was so strange looking at the Richmond train that I normally ride from the PBP train at the Civic Center and 19th street stops!
I may do the West Oakland transfer again just for variety now.....
You mean 12th St in Oakland..
You mean 12th St in Oakland.. Although transferring at Civic Center would usually give you a good seat on the PB/BP train.
I used to work at an office at Montgomery and would backtrack to Glen Park for a seat.
