nice pic. not to burst your bubble, but minutes after that photo was taken a fare evading teen probably hurdled the railing, knocked over the vase and nothing but the carnage of broken glass and torn flower petals remained on the chewing gum riddled cement.

At Civic Center, I'd just assume some homeless dude would steal it to pee in it, but at Lafayette at 5:30a I hope it lasts longer than a few minutes. Then again, you know those businessmen and their newspapers of doom...
If it's still there when I get back I'll take another picture :-)

I just realized something -
I just realized something - DUH!! Every station that I've visited has some sort of art displayed either on the inside or outside of the station - I might take pics of the art that I run across during my commutes. I don't have to start it - someone can start posting pics now. Just send it to the flickr account.
