Don't get on my train!
I was sitting all comfy in my hard earned post-WC seat when the train got held up at Macarthur. We sat for a minute, and the next SF bound train pulls up. The expected few people get out to catch the other one. I'm never in a hurry to get to work so I decided to take my chances.
Well, after a few seconds the TO says 'there's a SF/Millbrae train on the other track' and the floodgates open. Half of the train pours out and hustles across the platform. Like a good sheep I go with the crowd. As I'm boarding the Millbrae train the TO says 'if you're going to SFO you'll be on that other train anyway' and shuts the doors. I'm pretty sure what she wanted to say was 'Don't get on my train!' and slam the doors. Heh.

Your train got held at Macarther because of some jack*** who decieded to disturb everyone and then fight the Police. You should have seen it.
I thought I heard a ruckus,
I thought I heard a ruckus, but I always sit near the back of the train, and I was hella tired and involved in my Sudoku this morning. I did see a guy wandering up past the train with an orange vest and a bike yelling "SAN FRANCISCO! SAN FRANCISCO!" but he wasn't being detained at the time I switched train.
Darn, I missed the police action. Oh well, there's always more.
On a completely unrelated note I saw a BART doggie at the Civic Center station yesterday. He was so happy, I wish I loved my job half as much as that dog looked like it did.

TreoBART, Do you play Sudoku on your treo or the newspaper? I rarely play the game, but when I do I play it on my pocket pc.

What is this 'paper' of which you speak? Is that that flat stuff made out of trees that makes your hands black?
I've started playing on a site called rectang.com, they have a daily sudoku challenge. People with an iPhone can use the webapp, I just use my mobile browser and deal with the quirks. They have a ranking system and my BART buddy plays too. Ha, like I could compete with him anyway.
I didn't get today's puzzle, it was too hard. I'm still a sudoku n00b.

Similar incident in a Bay
Similar incident in a Bay Point train on Monday. Some jerk wanted to run around one of the SF stations and then get on the train yelling "Fuck Chicago" or something, hollering and making a big huge ruckus, train was intercepted at West Oakland, and he resisted.
