Not BART (MacArthur Station) Related

I'm annoyed that a homicide on Oakland's jurisdiction (Apgar & MLK) is reported by the media as somehow related to a particular BART Station. I looked at a map and Apgar & MLK is in no way directly connected to the station - there's no roadway nor sidewalk access to the BART station. I doubt the victim(s) were BART riders. Of course, the SFChron might need to do this to sell a few extra papers.

I think homicides are such
I think homicides are such tired news in Oakland that people don't even read any more. But when a safe system like BART is "involved," (even when it's not) that grabs the reader's attention. There hasn't been a homicide on BART property in how long?
I agree, this was probably to sell a few extra papers to BART riders in the morning ;)
