Wageworks and BART EZ Rider

Does anyone know if it's possible to use Wageworks' Commuter Card to pay for the BART EZ Rider card?

Wageworks' card claims to work just like a credit card, but I'm not sure if it only works in ticket machines.

I tried calling both BART and Wageworks, but neither know whether or not it will work, and just refer me to the other one for more information.

So if anyone has had experience with this and can confirm that it will work, please let me know. Thanks.

Is there a way to set up a backup funding source in case you exceed your Wageworks card balance?

and when you say EZPass, you do mean the BART EZ Rider car right?

Sorry, I just want to make sure everything will work correctly before I try to set things up with Wageworks and BART.

Thanks again.

with Translink I have WageWorks send $50 to the card and have my checking account run as backup (in $15 increments) if I run low on funds.

with the EZ-Pass it is not that easy since Bart insists on taking $45 at a time
