There isn't one change machine in the entire Montgomery station beyong the fare gates. I had to exit out of the emergency gate, go out and find the one measely change machine they have at Montgomery which is WAY far away from the addfare machines, get change, come back in and add fare. I should have just fucking walked out and not paid my fare at all which I could have easliy done because the station agent couldn't have cared less, but being an honest person, I went back in and paid my fare.

A few more details might be nice since BART is closing at midnight? Will we get home, what is going on? I received the below message at 10:50 p.m.:

"There is a major delay on the SFO Line in both directions due to police activity."

You don't even know if it is safe to go to your station and wait or even where on the line the activity is with this one sentence email.

where are you fucking BART cops in SF? why aren't you on the trains and on the fucking platforms on fridays nights? walking the trains at MacArthur ain't fucking hardly doing what a police officer should be doing when you HAVE all these DOD people on the trains. DOD is against the law.

if they are going to have 5 car SRO trains filled with 500 lb drunks who are falling all over everyone, not to mention luggage; it's dangerous.

BART continues to go WAY DOWN HILL, AT A FASTER PACE NOW THAN EVER.

Wonder if I get can get a spot there at 2:00 p.m.?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE LIGHTS IN THE PARKING LOT AT NORTH CONCORD. MANY OF THEM DON'T WORK AND THE REST ARE REALLY DIM? IT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS A REALLY LONG TIME. Talk about making it beyond easy for these friggin thieves.

I think I interrupted them. $800.00 for a new rear window.

8/13/08: Correction, $865.00 for the window and $200.00 to install it plus two days off of work to deal with this. I gave the guy $25.00 extra on the install because Dodge rear window removal on those trucks just SUCKS and he did it perfectly without scratching the paint which was important to me. The windows go in easy; they are tough to remove correctly because of their design.

Today I get the 1:39 I think out of North Concord. Get down the stairs and there's the convict crowd at the bottom of the escalator, very uncomfortable. Then I see this big A-A lady who has been sitting on the round thing at the bottom of the stairs; seems she just hangs out there, eats, litters, spits and talks to herself. She is really gross and they need to make her get on her way. She is obviously mentally challeneged and I'm wondering why she just allowed to sit there, make a mess and smoke.

As I walking through the lot to catch my train to work at North Concord, BART Police had nabbed someone in the lot and the of their cruiser. There were three officers talking to him. Don't know for sure what he was in the back of the cruiser for but with this nice weather, it is usually someone breaking into autos and judging from the look of the guy in their cruiser that is probably an accurate statement.
