My 9pm ride home to North Berkeley.

I doubt that fleas can survive very long in that carpet.

What was annoying that the dog was blocking the isle to the free seats forcing me to stand.

On Sunday I was on BART (with my bike) on my way to Concord around 5:20pm.

While at Macarthur Station the only other person on the platform was this hobo looking guy going through the trash for cans & bottles.

Seems there were quite a few..

Then out of the corner of my eye notice is he was not collecting the empty cans & bottles but instead he was collecting the contents of the empty cans & bottles.
He was pouring the ounce or two of left over soda (?) into his own bottle then dropping the empties on the floor and walking away.

While waiting around at the North Berkeley Station I looked up and noticed all the lights above the tracks ( and in the tunnel ) where incandescent bulbs and was sorta surprised that they were not CF bulbs.

Now I know the power saving for BART would be unmeasurable ( eclipsed by the power used by the trains ) but one would think they would want to set a good example, after all riding BART is all about being "green" ( or something like that ).

( I took a picture but is one can't ID the bulb types in the picture )

I was on the Richmond <-> Milbrae 10 car train at 7:10am yesterday.

When we pulled into Berkeley someone with a folding bike boarded the train.

( see attached picture )

Just cause folding bikes are permitted on the train does not mean you can ride your bike on Bart.

Also note the 2nd non-folding bike on the right hand of the picture .

This was a almost full car ( people were standing even though there were a couple seats left)

UPDATED:

Taken last night around 9:40pm at Montgomery Station.

This person was to into her Mc-Nuggets she did not even look up at the camera flash.

(yes that is my thumb on the bottom left of picture 1)

So, I'm taking BART into SF ( from El Cerrito Plaza ) around 11:10am. While on the train I hear a little clicking sound, when I look to my right to see where it is coming from, what do I see??

A Bart Pedicure in action!

Yes another toe-clipper (and I got pictures!).

From now on BP stands for Bart Pedicure instead of Bart Police.

On my ride home last night I was in the rear of last car on a Richmond train around 8:45pm.

Since the train was some what full I ended up sitting in one of the "elderly" seats.

At 12th street a woman in a red business suit sat next to me (I made sure she has lots of room).

At 19th street station A elderly man got onto the train, the woman in a red business suit looked up and went back to her reading. I immediately stood up and surrendered my seat.

In less then a minute it hit me, the stench of several pounds of ripe human sh*t!!
